Time for the next Houston must-try spot babes!
WHERE TO GO:
Lately I tried Bayou Heights Bier Garten and the attached coffee shop BHBG Coffee in Houston, TX for my book club meeting! Having never been I didn’t know what to expect BUT WOW this place is as stunning as it was delicious. The fun restaurant duo is located at:

WHAT I ORDERED:
Most of the girls actually wound up getting true food before the book club meetup but I opted to grab a coffee because I was nervous about being late lol. The coffee was top tier tasty (I went with a iced latte with caramel syrup) and the price felt really reasonable for such a cool spot.
WHY ITS COOL:
Now to start we did have a book club meeting in an open space upstairs in their super cool Silo-silhouetted glass window building.
This means it probably went a little differently than your trip may go because we used the space for a mini event of sorts, but we did experience ordering food and viewing the buildings so I feel comfortable saying Y’ALL NEED TO GO ASAP!
The girls in our meeting were chatting about the restaurant and I learned despite how beautifully historic these buildings feel? Its a new build and was carefully crafted to feel industrial and grand, yet somehow cozy all at the same time.
The seating felt so engaging for girls to talk and enjoy each others company in their upstairs eating area. Also if you’re more a coffee shop babe, the BHBG Coffee shop would be so fun to spend time in while catching up on emails/work or some tabloid news if thats more your jam.
Lastly, the staff couldn’t have been nicer. To the extent when I was taking my lil insta pics at the end my husband taking pics told me the guys working had noticed and moved out from the background to help. So genuinely thanks to them for hosting our group for such a beautiful meeting and thanks to our book club girlies for picking a fun spot for everyone to enjoy!
