The other day a friend and I went into a full out girl time discussion about our current makeup faves and must haves.
Beyond it being good for the soul to chat about something we find exciting, it also helped us swap ideas for new products to try.
We don’t gatekeep here though SO here are some we discussed and WHY:
+ we both have an obsession for Hourglass bc of the quality (notably their primers powders and palettes) we also debated highs and lows of their concealer. It’s so pretty but can crease a bit over time 🥲
+ smashbox has a primer (halo primer) that’s not viral but should be 🤌🏻 for its blurring / filter like effect it gives
+ mac cosmetics has a new serum skin tint worth trying (now on my list!) for lightweight glowy coverage
+ also the mac cosmetics lip glass is one you’ll keep in your purse if your a gloss girlie it’s so glam feeling
+ Patrick ta is worth it imo from how beautifully blendable the blush duo (cream and powder duos) is to the lip liner that helps make lipstick stay put long term (also the pencil goes up by clicking it like a clicky pen)
+ Charlotte tilbury contour / blush / highlighter are 100% incredible but the products do go quickly so we used them a bit less often or more sparingly
+ last up for now >> YSL lippies are heavenly and I told my friend she had to try and hi this is me now telling you too! The balm lipsticks are my fave. Sheer color coverage with a glossy finish so it feels like an all in one lip product. Plus the tubes can be deconstructed to make YSL rings but shh that’s a secret
