Working with Aspyn & Ivy to bring you the cutest Spring inspo!
Your mission today friends, should you choose to accept, is joining me getting ready for an event at a local Western hat shop in Houston!
As there’s no official dress code, I’ll go with dressing for the essence of the shop instead. It’s a store of Western hats so that feels like the BEST time to pull out some cowboy boots and make a cute Western glam outfit.
As a base I’ll be pulling a new dress I got in from Aspyn & Ivy recently since I feel like it makes a statement, is memorable if I meet new people, and could even be a conversation starter! Spoiler alert: It was.
I’ll be sandwiching this glam dress between two major Western themed elements: cowboy boots I’ve had since college when I lived in Alabama and a cow print fuzzy jacket from Aspyn & Ivy! Also another spoiler alert, the cow print jacket was also a conversation starter! Highly recommend items like this when going to places where you know minimal amounts of people.
Final touches will include a brown crossbody so I can keep my hands free and light jewelry (to keep attention on the fabulous clothes). I’ll also be wearing hair down so I can easily try on some fun Western hats while I’m there!
Overall I love the final resulting outfit! My recent Aspyn and Ivy hauls set me up perfectly for this event and the final clothing choices goes so well with my old cowboy boots to stay extra on theme! Plus, who can resist a happy color like this red-orange or a fun print like the cow print jacket? Clearly, not me!
